Samsung Wave II S8530 Launched In India


Samsung has launched the Samsung Wave II or S8530 model for the Indian market. The smartphone with loads of multimedia features caters to the needs of high-end or advanced users.
With 3.7 inches wide LCD capacitive touch-screen display (diagonally), the phone has extensive features and applications. Samsung Wave II S8530 smartphone functions on Samsung’s Bada operating system. The other notable features include a 5 mega pixels camera with LED flash, FM radio plus recording, 2 GB internal memory, micro SD and a 3.5 mm audio jack comes attached with the phone.
The Internet features of the phone include Bluetooth 3.0, expandable 32GB memory capacity, 3G HSDPA 3.6 Mbps and Wi-Fi.
With 1GHz processor, the smartphone offers quick data processing and allows seamless usage and download of multiple applications at the same time. The Samsung Wave II is embedded with HD video player and supports Xvid and DivX that can compress lengthy videos while maintaining its high quality. Create Movie feature enables users to create short movies along with background music and text support.
“With the launch of Wave II, Samsung's mobile phone offering of the ‘Bada platform in the Wave series has been expanded to include five models in the price range between Rs.8,800 and Rs.20,900,” Samsung India Head for Mobile and IT arm, Ranjit Yadav, was quoted as saying.
Samsung Wave II S8530 is in the Indian market comes with the price tag of Rs 20,990.
