General Motors is expected to launch its first ever hybrid in India. The Volt was first displayed in September 2008 at the 100th birthday celebration of the company and looks set to roll into India later this year.
The Volt is a four passenger, 4-door hatchback electric vehicle which can be fully charged in 8 hours in a 120V outlet, and in 3 hours in a 240V outlet. The Chevrolet Volt is expected to arrive with a 1.4 litr, 4-cylinder engine.
